The Donkey that Ran a Race with the Lions

The meaning of impossible is the absence of God and what is lost is simply a state of ignorance, yet the world turns, and more people perish whilst ignoring knowledge that saves lives.

A politically correct leader is usual nine out of ten a godless leader, whilst the other one out of ten is the devil himself who at least knows the existence of God but both are no better than the other. You cannot choose your parents but you can surely choose your partner in life but in either case, the same person will still complain equally on both cases. Only a fool will accuse a pig for being dirty and the fool will demand that the pig changes. It is well known that time waits for no one but do we always forget that time is our creation? I saw a lazy person declaring something to be difficult, yet when it was time to spend money he had not earned, the word difficult seemed not to exist anymore. Words are choices; we use them when it appeals to us and when we are more comfortable with them. As one movie line once said, “the word love means nothing until you associate a meaning to it”. Not all fools are foolish in the same way not all wise people are wise. It’s a strange world when the donkey runs a race with the lions.

Years are numbers we choose to measure but age is the experiences we have. Dreamers are those that rest more, but hopeless dreamers are those who confuse night and day. I once saw a preacher preaching the good news, but he was surprised people hated him because his good news was like death to them. Every prophet will prophesy as long as you can hear, when the prophet stops to prophesy it’s not because he has given up, it is because he has noticed you are deaf. If you always do what the Romans do, you might just commit murder and feel like you have achieved something. A people once elected a president and after some time they said he was failing his job, yet when they are asked to create employment they asked foreigners to employ them. Patience is like a cup of tea, it has its beginning and its end but somewhere down the line it will grow cold and you might never finish the cup of tea. If the donkey decides to run a race against the lions at least it must make sure it is faster than all the lions and has a head start.

Don’t be fooled the king will marry many women but only one son will succeed him. I saw a church blame a man for his polygamy and called him a fool, but they forget that the women that entered the marriage are also equal of blame. Changing your husband to make him better is like changing a wheel whilst the car is moving at top speed. A person who prays all day and all night but never works or invests, is like a cook in a restaurant who buys the stove but forgets the ingredients. Show me your faith and surely I will show you your destiny, but if you can show me your works then yes I will see your profit. Never insult your employer, unless if your employer is deaf but even in that case make sure there is no air to carry the sound. The one you trust can disappoint you, get over it but the one who loves you will always trust you, know who loves you more than who trusts you. If the donkey races against the lions there is a risk of the race becoming an eating contest.

Listen, you can complain all you like about the sun, the size of the moon, but what is will be, and what is not, is not. Love as much as you can, hate what deserves to be hated but above all give God his place even if you have never met him. If you give the devil his place then expect trouble at all times. There are many words in life, know which ones to use and use the ones that make sense. Not everything is what it seems.

A Vanity Affair

September 14, 2011 Leave a comment

You are born and then you die. You live, you fight, you win or you lose. Today you are sick tomorrow you are well, but in the midst of all life is wisdom far stranger than the truth so it may seem, we are all having an affair with vanity.

What’s the Point
Without a doubt everyone reading this article is going to die at some point, and will leave all their possessions, their careers, their children, their legacies, their dreams, their businesses their habits and all that they ever fought so hard for. Everything that a person does when they are alive will be left and it will seem like you never existed because the world will keep turning. Someone else will take over your businesses or your visions, things will not be the same, your house may get sold or just neglected. Subconsciously we are in a race against time, or rather to be more accurate we are in a race against death and in most cases age. In being aware that time seems not to be on our side we rush this and that and try so many things in life, we fight for so many things and like what some people would say, we fight for a place in the sun. The battles are hard and we are bruised, we never know if we have really won the war because our lives seem like the war.

In all considerations we are actually living to accomplish our dreams before we die but in accomplishing our dreams we die and we leave those dreams behind. A wise person can ask the question what is the point of all the hard work we do if we are going to leave it all. Why then spend years of education and careers only to die and leave it all? An observer from another world would deem us mad because we strive to acquire things we never brought into the world and then die and leave those things, what is the point? We are born owning nothing except our individuality and we die as individuals yet our hearts burn with desires for assets and success, failure to get this success leaves us sick and depressed yet these things are never eternal to us just as we are not eternal to them. So then, what is the point of this race? Yet in all this there is wisdom greater than death itself.

The Fights
Horribly, people kill for land, money and wealth; they kill for romance and love. Some die for noble quests whilst some are just sacrificial lambs to stupid causes. We fight for things that vanish in our death, things which never go beyond our timeline. We fight so hard trying to possess the land and the wealth yet when we die we never take it with us. All over the world genocides and crimes are committed in the name of now but at the end of the day the same perpetrators die and leave everything they killed for behind. Presidents rule with tyranny and hang on to power as if they are holding on to life itself. In the end dictators come and go, they rule and die, they speak and die, they steal and die, they lie and die, and they boast and die. They are all like the chaff, one day it is here the next day it goes with the wind. Yet beyond in their stupidity we can learn something greater than our education will teach us.

Is it the Pleasure?
Do we fight so hard for dear possessions because they are a necessity or because we are afraid or it is just for the pleasure of it. Obviously a person can live on a million dollars only but none never stopped in just being millionaires which is why we have billionaires in the world. There is enough food in the world to feed each person but famines still occur and people die from starvation. In one part of the world they eat till they get heart attacks and in other parts of the world they starve till their hearts fail. Some drive till they die from accidents whilst some walk till they step on a land mine, yet in all this everyone could have enough. We then need to ask ourselves are we selfish for pleasure or because of fear, do we live as slaves to ignorance or are we just stupid. It’s a paradoxical world and we are the pawns to our own imaginations. Wisdom has never been so obvious.

Breathe for a Moment
For moment think about every fight you have ever been in, think of every misunderstanding you have ever had, think of every tear you have cried; and every despair you have felt. Now think of every happy moment you have ever had, think of every smile you have ever had, think of every success that made your day. For a moment think of yourself dead. Think and see yourself dead, and look at your life. Does anything that you have ever done really make sense? What did you live for in your life? When you were sad was it worth it to finish the day being sad or happy? What decisions did you make which were useful to you? For moment imagine you are dead, what was the point to your life? Think about it for a while, pretend you are reading about your life, what did you achieve?

The Wisdom of Vanity
Understand this, it has all been an affair with vanity that you have been having. Instead of living with truth you have been cheating on life with vanity. Instead of living in truth you have been distracted by vanity. We forget that truth does not die but vanity does, we step into lies but truth remains. When you die your love never dies, your thought never leave you and your feelings will always be there. Everything else will go but the truth will remain. So why waste time with things that do not make sense, simple, because we are in a passionate affair with vanity.

Reality’s Journey

The other day I started on a journey to look for reality. I wanted to ask reality a few questions because I noticed he was causing a lot of suffering in the world. I woke up on one of the earth days and someone told me it was Monday. I started looking for Monday but I could not find it but was I told that it is an agreement that everyone has out of faith in order to create order in the world. I recognized that the calendar is just a piece of paper with numbers we write but does not have Monday. I looked at the watch and noticed that it said 6:00am, “ok I said”, it is 6:00am written on the clock but where do I find time and could I possible touch it. I realized I could not touch it.

Anyway so I made breakfast and got on my way to the city. I noticed that they were cars in the road, stopping and moving when ever the light symbols changed color. I asked one of the drivers why they were acting like this she said that it is part of the traffic rules. I asked to be shown traffic-rules so that I could talk to them but was told that they are in everyone’s head who is a driver. You cannot touch them but you just obey them. “Interesting”, I thought. As I was moving in the city I noticed that everyone was getting into buildings to what they called work. I followed some people and they told me they were going to their jobs. I got excited thinking for once I will meet this job character who made people so obedient such that they wake up every morning and sit on a chair. I wanted to ask job how he does it. In the building the people started showing me the activities which they do but they could not show me job. They told me job does not really exist but what they do is they follow instructions to work and this is what they do. The supervisor explained to me that job is in everyone head which is why they are so obedient to job.

All I could think of was, what a strange people, any so I asked them what was their motivation for spending the entire day that the sun is up inside a building away from home, they told me it is because of pay. This pay must be very powerful I thought, perhaps more powerful than job, because everyone seemed to get excited or agitated about her whenever the end of the month came. I waited and people showed me pieces of paper that they called money and said this was evidence of the existence of pay. “Strange”, I remarked to myself, these people actually abandon their homes and never see the sun because of paper, “Why can they not just go and get the paper instead of waiting the whole month for it”, I wondered, maybe pay is the slave master because most of the people seem like slaves to her, they never seem like they have a life of their own.

Any way I decided to leave the building and went into the city and met a lady who was crying. I asked her why she was crying and she said that her boyfriend had just left her for another woman. She said she that she was heart broken and that she might never love again. I remarked this is serious, “we cannot have that now”, I said. So I asked her how I could help her and she said maybe if I could take the heartbreak away from her. I felt obligated to help her after all she was so beautiful, so I quickly looked around for a stick so that I could beat heartbreak. I found a big stick and was ready to decimate heartbreak, so I asked her where heartbreak was so that I could teach him a lesson. She said heartbreak was in her head. So I told her I do not know how heartbreak got in but could she let him out so that I beat heart break. She said she could not because heartbreak was inside her. Strange I thought to myself, this lady is crying because of something in her head but she refuse to let him out. Unable to help her I left her still sobbing.

As I was walking I saw may people in the street begging from money. I did not understand why in a world full of so much paper and pay people would still be begging, so I went to see the mayor. The mayor told me quite easily of course, “This is how it is in life”. I asked the mayor where is it written that this is how it is and he said that it is not written anywhere and neither is it a law that others should be poor, it is just the way of the world he said. “Strange”, I said, by now I was getting stressed about these people, and my journey was getting too long. I looked for Politics, Fear, Power, Love, Hate, Wisdom, Knowledge, Information, Success, Failure, Stupidity, Happiness and so many others but still I could not find them in this reality they told me about.

I sat on a chair and started to recall my journeys events and came to a conclusion that reality does not exist after all. It is just a figment of everyone’s belief. I concluded that nothing really exists; it is all in people heads. I thought again and noticed that Reality is whatever a person thinks. “Strange”, I remarked

All People are Equal but Different in Achievements

June 7, 2010 2 comments

Strange is it may seem all people look the same. I was sitting at a certain mall the other day watching people as they passed. My goal was to see how many people I would see who look like the people I have met a long time ago. As time passed, in those two hours I realized that people actually do look alike. I think I met thirty or so people who had a resemblance to people I had met before. Maybe you have had this experience before where you met someone and they look like someone you know or you feel like you have met them before. When it came to the older guys above sixty I noticed they all look like they were coming from the same parent

This got me thinking, what really differentiates two people. Sure they can wear different clothes or walk seemingly different but in the end they are just two human beings who have bodies to use. I realized that its not what they look like that makes people different, it is what they have achieved. I noticed if someone has achieved a great status in life they can be able to dress differently and appear different. If someone has made more money than the other they can drive a different car from everyone else. The less people achieve the  more they will look alike. They will dress the same because they can afford the same clothes, they will talk the same because they will be exposed to the same things, they will smell the same because they are exposed to the same bath soap, they will feel the same because they are exposed to the same environment.

In my mall experience I noticed that when we talk of masses we are actually talking about people who appear as one person. They can be ten thousand people in a protest but it is actually one person as they all think and feel the same. So it is easy to manipulate a nation if you expose them to the same news, the same entertainment, the same work conditions and struggles, because then they will all vote in the same way. Priceless. The difference only comes when you have people who dare to achieve their own paths. People who dare not to conform to the way the world operates but actually stand up and are themselves. They actually follow their own dreams and not the dreams they are taught to follow.

Average.Dull.Uninspired. Lethargic.Trivial-ADULT

I wonder what happened to Johnny? He used to be so much fun. I remember Johnny, he had these fantastic dreams he used to talk about when he was growing up. I remember how he wanted to travel around the world and be in all sort of cities around the world. Oh yeah, then there was all this talk that he used to say about how one day he would build this grand big house for him and his family. Ok, I have to admit we thought he sounded mad but hey that is what made him so different. Johnny, Johnny, now he is such a drag, all he ever talks about is how life is not fair, and how one has to work hard to be anything. Fine I agree one has to work hard but what about working hard at fulfilling your dreams? Now he is so serious and so dull, sometimes I swear he is the first one to shoot down people’s dreams with his talk of reality. I can’t ask for advice from him anymore, because his answers are always the same. He no longer has that sense of romance about life, its like all the life was sucked out of him. Perhaps being an adult just means you are Average, Dull, Uninspired, Lethargic and Trivial

4 Minutes to Live

April 6, 2010 Leave a comment

If you had one week to live what would you do? Would you look for that friend of yours that you have not spoken too, maybe hey? Oh, I think you would want to do the things that make you smile over and over to you. Perhaps be where you like, and act the way you like. How about eat the food you like and cook what you love. No, I have it, why not just lie around for a day enjoying the day and the music of your choice. Would that not be nice? You would do all these things if you knew you had one week of life. It takes roughly about 4 mins of lack of oxygen before you are brain dead. This can happen at any time of the day. An accident can happen any time of the day no matter where you are. Technically and practically you actually have 4 mins of life to live at any moment so why spend it doing things you do not like or love. Was just wondering? You see we think we have all the time in the world which is why we sometimes spend it with the people we do not like, eat what we do not like and take part in activities we are not into. Yet the truth is we could die at the next moment or next step. It has happened after all people die every minute in the world.

Sometime Just Keep Quite

April 2, 2010 Leave a comment

Ever get tired of explaining yourself to yourself and to everyone. It’s not that people do not understand you its just that it is not the time for them to get you. You have heard all the talk about there is a season for everything, believe it or not, there is a time when people will understand and it maybe when you are dead or in the distant future. Ever noticed that most heroes are celebrated or truly appreciate after they are dead, not when they are alive? Have you ever noticed that most religions actually pick up after the person is long gone or dead? Sometimes we only start to appreciate our friends or that special person when there is distance between us. The thing is most of the time people only believe after they have had time to digest and to see results. Even if they see results they may not believe. So what do you do? Speak once and then keep quiet.

If you speak too much you will end up using so much energy and conflict in yourself such that you only concentrate on it and not what you ought to be doing. Sometimes it is good to keep quiet and go to that place of solitude in yourself and do what you have to do. People will understand you one day but do not always think it will be today.
