A Clever Mind, Cleverer than the Dark

July 30, 2012 4 comments

And the unjust steward’s lord commended him because he had done wisely. For the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light

It is one thing to hope, have faith, love or even pray for a thing but it is another entirely different thing to participate in it. The clever person knows that life is participation, not a passive state. So in most times the most religious person unfortunately not understanding this, concentrates in the passiveness and lacks the participation. In the end two people can hope for riches but the one who invests will be richer, two people can own a field but the one who plants will reap a harvest, two people can believe in God but the one who acts on his word will be the favored one, two people can run the same race but the one who practices more will last longer and triumph more. It rains on the good and evil but the wise one will know how to use the rain.

The clever person understands that in life there is thing called favor. Favor is what other people choose to call luck. It is when you try something and somehow things go your way and people say you were lucky. When you participate in something you will find favor. Favor finds those who are willing to act on something. Two teams can play a game but the one who makes the most shots on target has greater favor in finding the goals they need, two people can start a business but the one who acts more in the their marketing plan will get favor, two people can sell the same product but the one who is always trying to be more innovative will find favor. He who carefully seeks good gets favor; but he who seeks mischief, it shall come to him. Participate and the favor will come to you.

The clever person understands that they are blessed already before they start anything. If a person wears a suit and you don’t that does not make them more human than you it just means they are wearing a suit and you are not. We are all created equal and blessings are for all. The over religious forgets that they are blessed and are always looking or praying for a blessing yet they already have it. Is it not obvious that all you need to do is to be the part and the blessing is activated? If you are not living the part how can the blessing be activated; by living in a certain way that’s the key that turns the blessing that is already there. After all blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Be the part, participate, favor will come and the blessing will be activated by your actions.

The clever mind understands that in all things persistency pays. The clever person knows that if you never give up and set your goals accordingly that eventually the door will open. If the tree does not yield fruit in good time, cut it down and plant new trees, if your oil is flowing and there are not enough vessels in the house then borrow a vessel soon you will afford more vessels for yourself, if they sell you to another country then prosper in that country, if they take your only well that had water then dig another one, if they cross the waters without you then follow in style and walk on water, if the devil is persistent in tempting you then be persistent in rejecting him, if life seems to happen to others then be persistent and happen to life. Participate, favor comes, blessings are activated and be persistent on what you need.

Finally the clever mind understands that God is the source of all things, the clever person gives back what he or she must. The clever person knows that the world is round, what was will be, what flowed will flow again, what ceased will start again, what you held will return to you. Be not afraid but step out, participate, find favor, you are blessed and be persistent. In this give the best of yourself and don’t be petty.

Genesis One Verse One

July 26, 2012 5 comments

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven is taken by violence and the violent take it by force.

In the beginning, is a statement that simple defines that everything has its beginning. Every business, marriage, relationship, or event in life has its beginning. Every thought has its inspiration, every baby has his or her first steps, every life has its first conception but no one said the beginning starts with a place of order. Normally the beginning of a solution starts from a place of confusion, the beginning of truth starts from a place of lack of the truth; and so in the story the beginning start with a world which had no form, which was dark and nothing lived there hence the beginning. So in life no matter what you want you want to start just be prepared to understand that it starts from a point of nothingness.

In the beginning God, is a statement that simply qualifies that if you are to have a beginning then let that beginning be grounded within the presence of God. Whether it be a business, life, relationships, marriages, or events in life let the beginning be set in the presence of God. Before David could pursue the enemy he had to ask God so that the beginning of his battle declares the presence of God, before you start your day let your beginning be with God, before you sleep, before you drive, before you eat, before you breathe let your beginning be with God after all people ought to pray without ceasing.

Created, is simply a word that declares how everything needs a level of movement, a level of force, an effort which displaces one thing to make way for another. Violence does not always mean the committing of a crime it can also mean the movement of things, the change that requires force, the need for power, the need for work and only those who understand this have real faith. Faith is without works is dead because in the absence of action then that which is believed ceases in the mind of the believer. If you never venture into the created zone then you never make anything happen in life. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven is taken by violence and the violent take it by force.

The heavens and the earth, is an order of creation. The heaven is the spiritual and the earth the physical. For anything you create to stand in time and in eternity it has to have a spiritual representation before it can have a physical state, in other words if the spiritual is missing then the physical will certainly crumble in time. If you are to start a business then let the spiritual be set first, if the marriage is to work then let the spiritual be made first, if the relationship is to be successful then let the spiritual be anchored first, if the event is to have any substance then let the event be grounded in the spiritual first. Let the heavens be made first before we have the physical.

Creation ends with one phrase, it was very good, in this is the power that lets you understand that if you are walking with God then it’s all good. Since God made the heavens and the earth then God is in charge. All things work for good for those who believe, if God is for us who can be against us. When they lie to you, it’s all good because God is with you, when they challenge you it’s all good, when they accuse you it’s all good, when they steal from you it’s all good.

The finally the statement is complete, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This is the beginning of the belief in God and the understanding of life. From this is the wisdom of how the believer should function.

Wisdom is a Strange Thing

July 24, 2012 Leave a comment

They gang up to murder someone, but they are the victims yet they might never know it until wisdom comes knocking at the door. The wealth you get from crime will enrich you for a time but when wisdom arrives it will become obvious that the wealth robs you of your life. Wisdom shouts in the streets wherever crowds gather but the crowds are so busy they don’t notice it. It’s a strange thing this wisdom

For a while the foolish will seem wise and the wise look foolish but in time, wisdom will uphold the wise and the foolish will meet their end. We will all die but not all will carry on with life, it is a strange thing this wisdom. Many people will work hard in life and earn a salary for a month but few will ever know where money comes from, only when wisdom comes do people realize that money comes from trees. People will look for treasure all their life, silver and gold but when wisdom comes then only then do they realize that all along they needed to find wisdom first because then the treasure will not make sense. A guy will earn ten professional qualifications but never earn enough knowledge to be wise, whilst the guy who is still working on his first degree can become a billionaire without any other professional qualification needed simply because he met wisdom.

Most roads are wide but few realize that wisdom likes the narrow road yet people still build wide roads in their lives. There are many books on wisdom but people will prefer fantasies hence wisdom will remain rare in any society, if you doubt just look at the top ten selling books of any country. It is better to tell a fool a parable than wisdom because pearls in front of a pig have no value. When the fool finally meets wisdom only then will the fool recognize the meaning of the parable. A cup of tea can calm any person who panics but a cup of wisdom can solve an situation, when wisdom comes its not the calmness you will seek, it’s the solution that you will find that will matter more.

Imagine there are billions of people that have lived and more will follow but realize that only a handful ever saw wisdom in its pure form, the rest have met routines and are going in circles of life. Here is where life is simple, everything which exists is connected but everything must exist in pairs. For anything that you see there is perfect twin, partner and rib. Many will ask where can one find wisdom, yet the answer is simple, where can wisdom find you. Wisdom is in all things, times, moments and life; the problem is where we are. When God looked for Adam the fool will think that God had lost Adam but the wise will know that Adam was lost yet God was there. You are only as stupid as you wise and everyone wisdom before God is stupidity. Don’t aim to be as wise as God else you will be as high as the devil, rather aim to be as one with God and he can call you his child.

Wisdom is a strange thing, it will inspire the fool to war and encourage the wise to violence but the result of the two will never be the same. Two men can walk together but they can be worlds apart. Your friend is your friend but when wisdom comes you will realize that they are there for a purpose not for a lifetime. Whatever you will look for you will find this is the law of life, but whatever you find does not mean you looked for it neither does it mean you should keep it, this is wisdom. Don’t be quick to speak unless if you have to shout to save someone’s life otherwise be quiet and let the storm have its fill.

I love you does not mean the same thing between two people, for one it might mean you will take care of my needs for the other it might mean you will make me smile but in reality they will both use the same words and think they mean the same thing. Some people will think you know what they are thinking and will suppose you are moron for not understanding them, yet when wisdom comes they will discover that they are fools. Be quick to judge if you are God but be slow to anger if you are just a creation. Believe in wisdom; find it if you can but above all the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

The Pressure of Prayer 3: Walking on Water

July 23, 2012 1 comment

I must work the works of Him who sent Me, while it is day. Night comes when no man can work. Prepare yourself to walk on water.

After feeding the multitudes with five loaves and two fish, instead of celebrating the amazing feat Jesus instead goes up to pray up in the mountain. His disciples on the other hand go on to cross the waters in the boat, not really worrying on how their master will cross the same waters also. In life you will find that that the people you planned to do things with will leave you or disappoint you; and in many times you will have decisions to make which require courage. You will face decisions that require you doing something you have never done before like walking on water.

Before you do anything it is important to realize that everything has a plan, whether you are conscious of it or not or whether you participate in the planning or not there is always a plan. Being conscious of the plan and participating in the plan is a decision we have to make. Your life is planned already before you are born, the fact that they are schools, universities, social groups, hospitals, streets, stores, phones and everything that exists means your life already has a plan. Before you are born, there is plan for you to be born in a clinic, the parents that you will have, the schools you will attend, the universities that you will attend and the list goes on, what makes the difference is how you participate and if you are aware of it. In other words you have the power to change the plan, enhance it and get a better plan. For some people they die in the same neighborhoods and never experience anything new, they marry the type of people their environment and exposure planned for them, they make the decisions that are expected of them, they go to the schools that are afforded to them and then they have children that will experience what they think they planned but it was never their actually plan. What does this have to do with prayer and walking on water?

Jesus prays in the early watches of the day which means it was midnight into early morning before four o’clock in the morning. Instead of rushing to the boat so that they cross the waters he elects to pray, not only to give thanks for the day but to prepare for the day. In your life you participate in the plans of the day by setting into motion the plans of the heavens. For example, in order for your plans to work you must have created or participated in the plans and understood the will of God. During prayer this is when the blueprint of the day is set, this is when the vision of what will be done is constructed. No person builds a building without first drawing the blueprint otherwise that person will be looked upon as a fool. Similarly how then can a person start a day without imagining what they need to achieve in the day. No doubt Jesus would have been praying for the next events about to take place, after all there is a season for all things. Most of us pray for routines and not for the new things in our lives, we pray to survive according to the way the world turns and not according to what we can actually achieve in life. In other words we are just living another person’s or society’s plan.

The disciples on the other hand, who were in the boat, had not gone for so long such that after a few miles they were stuck in the waters as they had not prepared for the day they just went out and thought they would just cross. In their minds Jesus had been left far back. In your life people will leave you and think you are done for but for one who plans there comes a time when you will overtake those who have no plan. There comes a time when you will dare to do something different, instead of looking for a boat which is what everyone else does you will do what others think is impossible, you will walk on water. When you plan your things and implement them, when they are now working people will think you used some magic, corruption or something supernatural simply because you would have moved so fast in their eyes that they think you are a wonder. The disciples see Jesus walking on water and they think he is a ghost simply because they thought they had left him behind.

People ought to pray always is not just a statement it is a strategy of life. Don’t build without the vision and don’t start a journey without understanding the route. Make your plans, pray your plans into reality when it is now day implement them. At night is not just the time to relax it is a time to construct the plans and see them in faith, when day comes it is time to make it happen.

Learning Cash Flow from Manna

July 19, 2012 Leave a comment

Basically money is an abstract idea which like all abstract things one has to believe in order to understand its uses and effect. However it as much as it has its uses it comes with certain rules which like manna must be obeyed.

It takes an idea to understand that tea leaves can be used for a drink or that wheat can be ground and processed to make bread; likewise it takes an idea to understand the concept of money and how it works. In the absence of an idea life is like a desert or wilderness where one will most likely die until an idea comes to mind on how to survive or live. The first time the Israelites discovered manna they had no idea what it was hence they asked Moses who explained to them that it was the bread they would eat. Money is like that, if no one explains to you or if you don’t understand what money is you will just think it’s some mysterious substances which has no use to you.

A flow is simply when you have the occurrence of an idea which is accessible on a day to day basis. The flow is the stream that keeps coming and passing your way. Every day, manna would fall from heaven for the Israelites and they would eat the bread with each person having enough for the day. In life being rich or wealthy is not the accumulation of a bank deposit balance; it is the ability to have a flow of money from a source which is reliable. If a lake or dam does not receive a regular flow of water or source of water the end result is that it will dry up and finish. If one is to start a business or anything that brings money then one has to be sure it will bring regular income which is not only adequate but dependable.

When the Israelites would keep the manna for the next day it had a tendency to go bad, stink and rot. If you have a flow of a substance and all you do is keep it and do not use it the result is that sooner or later you will either lose it or it will just lose its value. It is like an investment in shares in the stock market, if you keep it for too long the markets go up and down, at some point every company share decreases in value, so you have to know when to sell and buy otherwise at some point you have to be in it for the long term such that in years you gain from dividends whilst in some years you receive nothing. Naturally one has to store something for the rainy day, which is why the Israelites were then told to store for the Sabbath. Life requires strategies and one must develop strategies for keeping money and knowing when to use it, that is what they call cash flow. If you finish it all and do not anticipate that day when there is no flow you will starve, so one has to anticipate and act.

The bible says the manna would fall to the ground, not into the stomachs of the Israelites; meaning that they had to gather it, process it, serve it and eat. You can have the greatest idea in the world about cash, but if you never gather it, process it and find ways to consume it then that idea is just a thought. Aaron was commanded to store up manna in order for future generations to see the legacy; if you have a business or source of income ensure that the next generation learns also on how it works and they can see it. Generations are usually lost because the previous generation left no inheritance. A wise man leaves an inheritance for his grandchildren not just for his children. The Israelites ate manna for forty years but within the forty years they had other sources of flow, quails for meat and water to drink. When you find your principal source of flow make sure you have secondary flows which not only add more substance but can be complimentary to your original flow.

Most people will asks for a lump sum of money but the truly wise will ask for a flow of manna, just make sure you are one of the wise ones.

Born Again. Beyond the Obvious Rhetoric

July 18, 2012 1 comment

Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

In most cases some words and phrases become statements of fashion without incorporating the real meaning and power beyond them. To begin with our very nature once born again is not a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Though this being the case that one should not fear we find that we can resemble nothing close to courageous and bold people. It is then no wonder that in the business, markets, societal standings amongst other things the people is found not to be associated with fearlessness but with other feeble traits. It is naturally important to balance love and fear but it is important to realize that love has no fear. If the light does not turn on then the people will follow a different type of angel of light. We should then not be surprised that certain practices are becoming accepted law.

Customs and traditions may seem like decent things to do but they normally are neither wise nor foolish. But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known of God, we tend to turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, where we desire again to be in bondage to certain customs and traditions? We observe days, and months, and times, and years but understand nothing of their significance. In some cases we spend more money celebrating death more than life events, and we make ourselves slaves to practices that make us poor and more ignorant. We respect meats and drinks as if they are holy or cursed yet we should eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no question for conscience’ sake; for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it. Have we forgotten Jesus said that do you not yet understand that whatever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the waste-bowl? If you are born again why continue to live in the rhetoric?

It is true that there are many philosophies and many prophets but why be fooled by any of them are we not commanded to test every spirit? There is much vanity but though we walk in the flesh there is power to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Is it not obvious by now that darkness cannot marry the light, the two cannot co-exist? Perhaps we are living in the rhetoric of the being born again we do not notice. For how long can we be children requiring milk, is it not time to move to meat?

We must try to become mature and start thinking about more than just the basic things we were taught about Christ. We shouldn’t need to keep talking about why we ought to turn from deeds that bring death and why we ought to have faith in God. Heb 6:2 And we shouldn’t need to keep teaching about baptisms or about the laying on of hands or about people being raised from death and the future judgment. There is much cliché and rhetoric in the world but there should be no rhetoric in being born again. You are either born again or you are not, there is no lukewarm in the kingdom of God, for Jesus himself said that he will spit us out if we are lukewarm.

The Pressure of Prayer: 2

July 6, 2012 5 comments

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Know your place, and know your position. He is high to be lifted and honored. We sometimes forget who we are praying and simply do a routine. If you were before a king would you just blabber words or would you choose and say them carefully bearing in mind who you are talking to. Sometimes we forget our place and instead utter words absent mindedly.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. We may want a lot of things but do we ever take time to understand what does God expect of us? What kind of God is he and if heaven was on earth what will be expected of us. If you were created in his image then there are particular traits which should be in you which are from Him. The earth is not an excuse to lack and fumble, but instead we should search for that which is true. There are many things on earth but there is only one God.

Give us this day our daily bread. We have not because we ask not. What constitutes bread to you may not constitute bread to others; why not ask for what is bread to you instead of copying everyone else. We ask amiss because we are copying and not true to our hearts. Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door shall be answered, look and you shall find. When you pray do not use vain repetitions but ask for what is bread to you after all your father already knows what you need before you ask for it, so ask for it and don’t ask what someone else needs and think that is what you need.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you. By what standard are prayers answered? Would it not make sense that the judgement you exercise on others is the same that you receive after all that is what you would have set in your life. If you tip a dollar then expect to receive a dollar, if you forgive after ten years then expect to be forgiven after ten years. The standard you set in your private and public life is the standard that will apply to you. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. There will be weapons formed against you, recognize this and pray that they do not prosper, pray no temptation can overcome you but overcome evil with good. We do not believe in a faith of words but of power and truth. Let your prayers be a declaration of the power you believe in. let not your words be void, but a yes be a yes and a no be a no.

Finally, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
