Time vs Death vs Fear

July 29, 2010 Leave a comment

Days and seasons is what most of us think of time is, yet time takes a whole new dimension in our lives. When we are talking about “I am out of time”, “Time is moving” we are not talking about the original concept of time. Originally, time is just a moment when things are in a certain state. In its originality time is just a place, observation and relative existence. In simple terms time is just reality as observed of what is around us.

Now, what we refer to as time in our everyday presence is actually the presence of death. To us the measurement of time is the measurement between birth and death. It is the measurement of days and seasons between the opening and closing of windows, it is the presence of an opportunity and its disappearance. This concept of time is the wrong concept. In the absence of death time, from our limited understanding, time becomes eternity yet this is no the same thing. Eternity is life without measurement. Time is observation of an existence. When we speak of such things as running out of time we are actually saying an opportunity is closing or death is coming. If we take away the concept of death where death ceases to have its sting so to quote, life begins to take a different dimension. Time in our wrong conception is fear substitution for death. Where we live and measure time we do it with regard to the fear that we are closer to death or in some circumstances to completely missed opportunities.

A simple extrapolation of this is the conclusion that our number one enemy is not time or fear but death itself. Every fear that we have is based on the possibility of death. We are afraid we may never find someone who loves us because we are afraid we will die before it happens; we race to buy houses so that we die having at least owned one. Our major fundamental error in human existence is that we have married time to death yet this is not supposed to be the case. Our every organisations, systems, competitions, romances are wrongly based on the prosepct of death. Existence consists of many possible realities. In simple terms time is an observation of realities and their occurrences without any relative marriage to a death occurrence. Time exists in the absence of death as an observation of existence otherwise eternity will not have any meaning.

How do I write this so that you understand better? What I am saying is, if you eliminate death or the conceptual relativity of death to your existence you create a mastery of time in which you have self-control and the existence of things. You become capable of creating possible realities which we can do using a different concept which is not aligned to death which is faith. There are many alternative realities which are possible and we can create them within the right understanding that there is time, season for everything. What you want now you can have if you understand the power of time. If you want to succeed in anything all you have to eliminate is not time but your relative conceptual understanding of death. Time is your existence reference to which any person can then boldly say “I am …”. Its funny how people never ask you questions about things when you are still alive but want to know and sepculate when you are dead about what you really meant. Any way you see you in time.

Creating Tomorrow Today

July 27, 2010 Leave a comment

So much is spoken of tomorrow we almost forget that today does exist. We spend most of our time worrying about tomorrow we forget to give today its due attention. The success of today is a result of a yesterday which was a today and the success of tomorrow is a result of today which was applied. In order for us to become successful today we need to live in the now moment.  The now moment is not a general term but rather is a specific time and place. It points to what you are doing and where you are. It speaks of why you are doing something and how you are doing it.  It sees today and what you believe in.

Most of the time we are so carried away about the impossibilities of today we put never really live to fight for today or to attempt to achieve what matter to us today. At the end we are always looking to future which never happens all because we forgot that tomorrow exists in today.

There are some very basic things we need to achieve in order to live in the now moment to create a good tomorrow. Firstly we need to understand who we are and what we want. Most of us live our lives in an identity crisis which is why we end up trying almost anything which comes our way or in the near future we regret our earlier decisions when we finally discover who we are and what we really like. One needs to sit down and be honest with ones self as to who really am I? Are you what people say you are or are you who you believe you are? Or are you just lost in the many definitions given to you by the world such that at the end of the day there really is no real you just a name tag or job title?

Secondly it is important to see what you want not tomorrow but in today. In other words it is important to see the reality of what you want to create in what you are doing today. For example, a person may want to be a musician, if they just sit around thinking about it they may never get there, what they really need is to sing and practice and believe they are almost there. One has to live always expectant of the good things which will come. Our every “Now” action must be geared towards the vision that we have so that we are not wasting our time. what you do today must be a reflection of what your vision is all about. The way you talk, your ideas, your dreams and interests must at least be an image of what your tomorrow holds. When people look at you or rather when you look at yourself you must at least see an image of what you are achieving today in creating tomorrow.

Finally one needs to have belief today and not tomorrow. One must believe that whatever it is they are working on, even though it has not shown up, is the seed hence it has shown up. Most of us put off our belief for tomorrow and say things like, “When I get the money I will be ready” or things like “It not yet time to think about such things”. When we do that we put off the existence of tomorrow from today. We need to believe in today to create a tomorrow.

You Have All Been Fooled

July 21, 2010 1 comment

You Have All Ben FooledOver time, people become a shadow of themselves because they are too busy trying to be what they are not, while never living up to their potential. In a world full of images, words, laws and rules, there is a need for us to be true to who we are and what we are capable of doing. We need to see ourselves as the very best of what we can be, because life is too short to spend it being confused and not achieving our goals. Winston M’s new book, You Have All Been Fooled, a book for the body, mind and spirit, shows us that everyone has great potential and can succeed in their dreams.

You Have All Been Fooled explores how people live within the shadows of the world, never realizing their own capability. Religion has played its part in the perceptions we have, and Christianity is a major player. Much is preached on attaining a good life, but that’s not possible when the wrong perceptions are being created without relevant insight into what is realistic and what is not. This book is about power, ability, capability, but above all, hope

Taken for Granted

July 16, 2010 Leave a comment

Relationships are like gardens. You plant a seed and at some point you have every right to expect fruit from it. That is why every major religion in this world talks of reward for good behavior because there is an expectation of some sort.

In planting there is work which need to be put in and caring which is required. At the most there is patience and tolerance because in some seasons the plants may not produce fruits but in some seasons they might. Like any farmer you need to be wise because there might a time when your efforts are going to waste. There maybe times when you do so much for the other persons but there is no return, so you have to be a judge in terms of when do you stop giving of yourself. However there is a difference between giving up on a person because they have disappointed you or giving the person their time out to decide what they want. You can only give up on a person when they are dead but while they are alive you can give them their space.

Sometimes giving people their space is just that, giving them their space. If you give up on a person while they are still alive it is like you are sending them to hell, however if you give a person their space it is like you are giving them a desert or wilderness experience. You will not be far but you will be close to them, maybe you might just be around them like the clouds or on top of a mountain because you love them.

Whether you like it or not people will insult you, take you for granted, break your heart, but in all this you have to decide at what season are you in with the plant. Are you now wasting resources and they need a time out or are they now dead to you. choose wisely.

Walking Into Reality

July 12, 2010 Leave a comment

If reality does not exist how then do we explain what we see and what we do? Surely it means that reality does exist somehow otherwise how then can we explain the things we see. So I decided to observe the streets before me. In front of me was a car park with lots of cars. The owners had left their cars there and would come back to pick them up. Drivers would come and simply unlock the car, enter and drive away. As I watched the cars moving away I began to notice that driving does not exist as an object because you cannot touch it. I noticed what people actually did were little actions based on the fact that they believed that cars could move. So an owner can leave their car in a car park and someone could come, drain the fuel away and as long as the driver believes there is fuel in the car they will try to do all the little processes they call driving. “So maybe, driving is something people believe”, I thought, because other people could not do it simply because they do not believe that they can. So driving is, simply believing that the car will move in a certain direction when you do certain processes. If you believe that place A exists you then move the car towards that direction yet there is a high likelihood that the place may not exist at all. “Amazing stuff”

Now I was getting puzzled, “Do things exist because they are there or because we believe they are there?” I asked myself. The answer shocked me when I finally received it. Apparently everything already exists, the past, future, and the tomorrow; the difference is what we decide to meet or come into contact with. I discovered as I kept staring in the street that each thing has its time and place where it can exist according to belief. The cars in the car park are there because someone created a car park believing that cars will park there, and the cars were then parked by people who believed the cars can be parked there. So as I was staring at the cars, I realized that I was not looking at my reality but I was looking into someone else’s reality and the actions they took to create that reality. The problem with meeting other people’s reality is that we can easily begin to think this is our reality and instead of passing their reality we get caught up in it. “Absolutely amazing”, I remarked.

A person can begin to believe that they will never be successful simply because in their family no one has ever had money. A person can believe an exam is impossible to pass just because no one has ever passed it in their class. Just because you meet another person’s reality does not mean it is the same for you.  Sometimes reality is like attending a meeting, just take the minutes but it does not mean that you live by the minutes you took.

Reality’s Journey

The other day I started on a journey to look for reality. I wanted to ask reality a few questions because I noticed he was causing a lot of suffering in the world. I woke up on one of the earth days and someone told me it was Monday. I started looking for Monday but I could not find it but was I told that it is an agreement that everyone has out of faith in order to create order in the world. I recognized that the calendar is just a piece of paper with numbers we write but does not have Monday. I looked at the watch and noticed that it said 6:00am, “ok I said”, it is 6:00am written on the clock but where do I find time and could I possible touch it. I realized I could not touch it.

Anyway so I made breakfast and got on my way to the city. I noticed that they were cars in the road, stopping and moving when ever the light symbols changed color. I asked one of the drivers why they were acting like this she said that it is part of the traffic rules. I asked to be shown traffic-rules so that I could talk to them but was told that they are in everyone’s head who is a driver. You cannot touch them but you just obey them. “Interesting”, I thought. As I was moving in the city I noticed that everyone was getting into buildings to what they called work. I followed some people and they told me they were going to their jobs. I got excited thinking for once I will meet this job character who made people so obedient such that they wake up every morning and sit on a chair. I wanted to ask job how he does it. In the building the people started showing me the activities which they do but they could not show me job. They told me job does not really exist but what they do is they follow instructions to work and this is what they do. The supervisor explained to me that job is in everyone head which is why they are so obedient to job.

All I could think of was, what a strange people, any so I asked them what was their motivation for spending the entire day that the sun is up inside a building away from home, they told me it is because of pay. This pay must be very powerful I thought, perhaps more powerful than job, because everyone seemed to get excited or agitated about her whenever the end of the month came. I waited and people showed me pieces of paper that they called money and said this was evidence of the existence of pay. “Strange”, I remarked to myself, these people actually abandon their homes and never see the sun because of paper, “Why can they not just go and get the paper instead of waiting the whole month for it”, I wondered, maybe pay is the slave master because most of the people seem like slaves to her, they never seem like they have a life of their own.

Any way I decided to leave the building and went into the city and met a lady who was crying. I asked her why she was crying and she said that her boyfriend had just left her for another woman. She said she that she was heart broken and that she might never love again. I remarked this is serious, “we cannot have that now”, I said. So I asked her how I could help her and she said maybe if I could take the heartbreak away from her. I felt obligated to help her after all she was so beautiful, so I quickly looked around for a stick so that I could beat heartbreak. I found a big stick and was ready to decimate heartbreak, so I asked her where heartbreak was so that I could teach him a lesson. She said heartbreak was in her head. So I told her I do not know how heartbreak got in but could she let him out so that I beat heart break. She said she could not because heartbreak was inside her. Strange I thought to myself, this lady is crying because of something in her head but she refuse to let him out. Unable to help her I left her still sobbing.

As I was walking I saw may people in the street begging from money. I did not understand why in a world full of so much paper and pay people would still be begging, so I went to see the mayor. The mayor told me quite easily of course, “This is how it is in life”. I asked the mayor where is it written that this is how it is and he said that it is not written anywhere and neither is it a law that others should be poor, it is just the way of the world he said. “Strange”, I said, by now I was getting stressed about these people, and my journey was getting too long. I looked for Politics, Fear, Power, Love, Hate, Wisdom, Knowledge, Information, Success, Failure, Stupidity, Happiness and so many others but still I could not find them in this reality they told me about.

I sat on a chair and started to recall my journeys events and came to a conclusion that reality does not exist after all. It is just a figment of everyone’s belief. I concluded that nothing really exists; it is all in people heads. I thought again and noticed that Reality is whatever a person thinks. “Strange”, I remarked

Doing The Right Thing Is Insanity

People who dare to do the right thing are the ones who are laughed at and labeled crazy at the beginning. Society does not allow people to stand up and do what is right. Most people for example will ask you to tell them the truth but once you do they will label you many things and view you differently. People like being lied to so sometimes it is best to keep your distance and you peace.

Doing the right thing is like standing in the face of a hurricane because people’s opinions are hurricanes. The moment you start being different a lot of people will label you a traitor, a blasphemer, a mad man or a truant. Every great person was accused of being insane. You can line them up and you will notice that at some point they were all discouraged and taunted with such statements as, “Who do you think you are”, “You are wasting your time”, “You are going to lose your friends”, “You think you are too good for us all”, “What can you not be just like everyone else”, “You are not normal”. They are so many things that will be said, think of Martin Luther, Jesus, Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Mandela, and so many others. If you know the truth then stands to it and hold on to it, because hurricanes come and they go but the truth is forever. The storms will come and they will blow but if you know the truth you hold on to it like your best friend and it will always set you free.

Doing the right thing is not something you just do, it is something that takes becoming unique and different from others. When they talk about you just relax and be yourself.
