The Beauty of A Foundation

Don’t be in a rush to build or buy anything unless if you have mastered the art of foundation building. The patience of patience is no in the ability to wait but in the wisdom to allow time for the foundation to be set.

In too many things we believe if we are waiting then we can be labelled as wise. Waiting for the sake of waiting does not help you or anyone. Any person on the planet can wait, but only those who know when the foundation is done know when to stop waiting. A person can wait for a promotion their entire life but the promotion might never come. Every promotion has a foundation and if that foundation has been built but the promotion has not come then one must move on. Waiting is not the essence of time but the prelude to the completion of the foundation.

Many people believe that if they wait long enough then their reward will come without realizing that the reward is dependent on the foundation that has been laid. If the foundation has not been laid the reward never comes. One does not become the footballer of the year because you were patient but one attains that status because you laid the foundation within the patience. Good things are delivered within time but in that time a seed for harvest must have been planted. A man does not retire willingly because it is time but will volunteer to retire if the foundation of his future has been secured. Think of patience as a vast sea of time in which one can pursue their targets and lay the foundation, such that when the sea has been crossed the reward will then be accessible depending on the foundation laid.

The beauty of a foundation is that once it is built it cannot be shaken or taken away from you easily. Removing the strong foundation of a house is not the weak person’s mission, it takes supreme effort. Likewise, the foundation of the mind cannot be shaken or taken away from you. What you build within the patience of life which is laid on a foundation is yours to keep. A company may be taken away from an entrepreneur but the foundation of starting a new company can never be removed.
