Genesis One Verse One

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven is taken by violence and the violent take it by force.

In the beginning, is a statement that simple defines that everything has its beginning. Every business, marriage, relationship, or event in life has its beginning. Every thought has its inspiration, every baby has his or her first steps, every life has its first conception but no one said the beginning starts with a place of order. Normally the beginning of a solution starts from a place of confusion, the beginning of truth starts from a place of lack of the truth; and so in the story the beginning start with a world which had no form, which was dark and nothing lived there hence the beginning. So in life no matter what you want you want to start just be prepared to understand that it starts from a point of nothingness.

In the beginning God, is a statement that simply qualifies that if you are to have a beginning then let that beginning be grounded within the presence of God. Whether it be a business, life, relationships, marriages, or events in life let the beginning be set in the presence of God. Before David could pursue the enemy he had to ask God so that the beginning of his battle declares the presence of God, before you start your day let your beginning be with God, before you sleep, before you drive, before you eat, before you breathe let your beginning be with God after all people ought to pray without ceasing.

Created, is simply a word that declares how everything needs a level of movement, a level of force, an effort which displaces one thing to make way for another. Violence does not always mean the committing of a crime it can also mean the movement of things, the change that requires force, the need for power, the need for work and only those who understand this have real faith. Faith is without works is dead because in the absence of action then that which is believed ceases in the mind of the believer. If you never venture into the created zone then you never make anything happen in life. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven is taken by violence and the violent take it by force.

The heavens and the earth, is an order of creation. The heaven is the spiritual and the earth the physical. For anything you create to stand in time and in eternity it has to have a spiritual representation before it can have a physical state, in other words if the spiritual is missing then the physical will certainly crumble in time. If you are to start a business then let the spiritual be set first, if the marriage is to work then let the spiritual be made first, if the relationship is to be successful then let the spiritual be anchored first, if the event is to have any substance then let the event be grounded in the spiritual first. Let the heavens be made first before we have the physical.

Creation ends with one phrase, it was very good, in this is the power that lets you understand that if you are walking with God then it’s all good. Since God made the heavens and the earth then God is in charge. All things work for good for those who believe, if God is for us who can be against us. When they lie to you, it’s all good because God is with you, when they challenge you it’s all good, when they accuse you it’s all good, when they steal from you it’s all good.

The finally the statement is complete, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This is the beginning of the belief in God and the understanding of life. From this is the wisdom of how the believer should function.

That’s a powerful revelation Winston. If the world would understand that every physical creation has a spiritual representation then we would be successful in all our creations that we embark on. Hence many are times we fail to achieve our set objectives because of lack of knowledge that we have to achieve the objectives in the spiritual kingdom before we touch them physically.

Now, this is a great article needing greater publicity! I normally read articles in this domain once, but with this one I found myself reading each passage twice. I will return to them again as so much was triggered in me as I read. Very revelatory and gives direction and order!
